The Middle's third season conclusion was seen by 6.5m (2.0) at 8pm, then the last Modern Family amused 10m (4.0) at 9pm.
Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23 benefited from a higher Modern Family lead-in, soaring to 5.7m (2.4) at 9.30pm.
Thriller Revenge rallied to 7.8m (2.4) for its last 2011/12 episode on the Alphabet Network in the 10pm hour, showing promising signs that it will hold up in its new Sunday 9pm slot from the fall.
Law & Order: SVU had a less satisfying time, with the five-year-old NBC drama's 7m (1.9) representing its lowest-rated finale ever.
Betty White's Off Their Rockers was the Peacock Network's only other new programme, entertaining 5.5m (1.5) in the 8pm junction.
America's Next Top Model stayed steady with 917k (0.4) for The CW.

Maybe changing the night it aired - on the finale week - is not a great(I am being nice) idea. "Hey, Let's do a day early?" whose crazy idea was that? I not sure your stats are very accurate considering the screw up on the day it was aired. People have lives and wouldn't expect something like this. We are not all clued to our TV's.
