The Top 5 - Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez - take their picks from the '60s and British Pop. The contestants are also set to perform as duos and trios with each other.

'The Letter' - The Box Tops
'Proud Mary' - Ike and Tina Turner
'Fortunate Son' - CCR
'River Deep, Mountain High' - Ike and Tina Turner
British Pop:
'To Love Somebody' - The Bee Gees
'Time of the Season' - The Zombies
'Bleeding Love' - Leona Lewis
'You Are So Beautiful' - Joe Cocker
'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me' - Dusty Springfield
Duos/Trios:
'Higher and Higher' - Jackie Wilson
'You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling' - The Righteous Brothers
Last week, the Top 6 contestants chose famous tracks by Queen and got the chance to pick their own songs too.
Akon recently admitted that he hopes 16-year-old Sanchez gets "voted off" so he could sign her on his label.
"She's beyond the talent that's supposed to be there," he said. "I think she's overqualified, I really do."
American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox.

I'm certainly not a hater of anyone in any competition but are people thinking the same as me, in that Joshua oversings very heavily and still gets 12 standing ovations? Maybe people are a little bored with him because the judges keep heaping all this praise. I think Skylar deserves to win the whole thing. Jessica sung her best in the earlier shows, and struggles on low notes and also in the group numbers but is still an awesome singer. It's a shame it's not the 90's when singers like Mariah and Celine were topping the charts. Talent shows aren't looking for diva singers anymore. No more Leona winners or Kelly Clarksons.

So aside from Leona, EVERY single song is from the 60's?

c'mon. I'm British and there is plenty more favorite songs to chose from. Bit of a waste really.... - I was hoping it could be a bit more modern. Bleeding Love is the only one I know...
