'Bachelorette' contestant Sean Lowe to become the next 'Bachelor'?

Former Bachelorette contestant Sean Lowe has reportedly been asked to become the next Bachelor.

Lowe was an audience favourite on the latest season of The Bachelorette, but was sent home by Emily Maynard on a trip to Curaçao.



ABC executives apparently took notice of Lowe's popularity with Bachelorette viewers and have already contacted him about his own series.

"Sean was approached by ABC to be the next Bachelor," an insider told Hollywood Life.

The informant went on to suggest that Lowe is undecided on if he wants to return to reality television.

"He's interested, but not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if you see him on the show next season though," the source claimed.

Lowe's elimination on The Bachelorette saw the series soar to 8m viewers for ABC.

The Bachelorette continues Mondays at 8/7c.
