The CW announces fall lineup: Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Arrow

The CW has announced its fall premiere dates.

This year, the network has pushed back its premieres to October, instead of following the traditional roll-out in mid-September.



Hart of Dixie kicks off two weeks of premieres, with its second season debuting on Tuesday, October 2 at 8pm.

Supernatural returns on Wednesday, October 3 at 9pm, while 90210 and Gossip Girl are set to debut on Monday, October 8 at 8pm and 9pm respectively.

Wednesday, October 10 will see the series premiere of Arrow, while Thursday, October 11 features the return of The Vampire Diaries, as well as the series premiere of Beauty and the Beast.



On Tuesday, October 16, the network's new medical show Emily Owens, MD will make its debut following a fresh episode of Hart of Dixie.

Finally, Friday, October 19 sees the premiere of America's Next Top Model: College Edition at 8pm and Nikita at 9pm.
