'Vampire Diaries': Elena transformation to revive love triangle?

The Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec has hinted that Elena's transformation into a vampire could revive her love triangle with Stefan and Damon.Plec explained that Nina Dobrev's character may reconsider her choice in the season three finale to be with Stefan (Paul Wesley) as she gets to grips with her new form.

Asked if Elena will stand by Stefan next season, Plec told TV Guide: "That's the best question of all. Everything has changed. Not necessarily how she feels about the boys, but who she is.
"This may bring her closer than ever to Stefan, or it may give her a deeper bond with Damon."
Plec also suggested that Elena may even remember that she met and connected with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) before his brother.
"She'll start learning things, like how Damon compelled her to forget their first meeting," the showrunner said. "Those memories will come back, and it'll add more fuel to the fire."

The executive added that Vampire Diaries fans can expect a "very emotional, very complicated first episode" when the show returns.
Dobrev herself has said that she is excited to see what kind of vampire Elena will become.
"Is she going to become a Stefan vampire where she eats bunnies and squirrels?" she asked. "Or is she going to be a Damon vampire where her personality completely changes into a vicious killer?"
Even though I'm a Stelena fan, I'm not too bother what they do with the three of them anymore (in terms of their love story). Believing that ultimately Stefan was the one to have listen to her describe how she feels aout each brother, to me it's clearly saying Damon's the one. I dn't know if that was the original plan because it didn't feel like that to me. Sometime tells me cos of the on/off screen chemistry of Delena/nina & ian they are going that way so I'm like whatever!!

i wonder how katherine feels about elena being a vampire. elena need to just stick with stefen. n damon need another girl. now that elena is a vampire who would b going after her now? like katherine said she was running for 500 yrs from klaus n that made her life interesting. over all i miss katherine. if elena keep playing with both salvatore brothers, everyone is just going to hate her n by everyone i mean the fans ofcourse

Oh my God, talk about flogging a dead horse! I was really looking forward to some angry Damon, going all season 1 Damon over Stefan getting the girl again and now we have to deal with his puppy dog act all over again? Enough with this! The only love triangle I like on this show is Klaus, Caroline and Tyler and they've screwed that one up too.

That isnt a good thing, im so bored of this, before it was who am i going to be with, now its FOREVER. I think damon will end up with Katherine.

what makes you think Katherine is going to fit into it? she has no need to be in seasson 4, because of Elena becoming a vampire no1 will be after her for her blood and if they do they wuid soon realize she was a vampire
