'Vampire Diaries' still strong for The CW on Thursday nights

'Break on Through', the supernatural drama's latest episode, pulled in 2.7m and a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demos - up a point week-on-week.
The Secret Circle continued with 1.7m (0.7), rounding off a solid night for the US's fledgling terrestrial network.
American Idol's hefty audience of 15m (4.0) ensured a bright start for Kiefer Sutherland's Touch (11.7m/3.2) on Fox, which was nevertheless down 15% on its special preview in January.
NBC's 8pm comedies Community (3.9m/1.7) and 30 Rock (3.3m/1.5) slipped slightly following last week's season highs.
30 Rock aired a second episode at 9pm, climbing to 3.4m (1.5), then 3.2m (1.4) watched Up All Night, and Awake slumped to 4.7m (1.2) in the 10pm hour.
After a respectable launch, ABC's Missing plummeted to 8.7m (1.6) at 8pm. Repeats of hospital duo Grey's Anatomy (4.7m/1.2) and Private Practice (3.4m/0.9) followed.
Meanwhile, CBS's basketball coverage scored an improved 6.7m (2.3) between 8pm and 11pm.
