'True Blood' star hints at season five finale: 'A lot of people die'

star Sam Trammell
has promised that season five will come to a violent end.
The actor - who plays Sam Merlotte on the HBO drama - told TVLine
that the current run of episodes will conclude with "one of the best season finales... ever".
"There's definitely going to be a ton of blood spilled and a lot of people die," he revealed.
Trammell also hinted that the finale will end on a "major, major cliffhanger", leading into the now-confirmed sixth season
He teased: "The very end [of the episode], people are going to be like, 'Holy s**t!'"
Joe Manganiello (Alcide) recently hinted that he is excited for the True Blood finale
and its implications for his character.
"I've been waiting for three years for what happens to Alcide in the finale, so I'm very excited for fans to see that," he admitted.True Blood
airs on Sundays at 9pm on HBO in the US, with the finale due to air on August 26. Season five will air on FX in the UK later this year.
