Gregory House's final outing in 'Everybody Dies' was seen by 8.7m (2.9) in the 9pm hour, its best ratings since January.
A House retrospective at 8pm, showing Hugh Laurie's best moments in the medical drama, had 6.1m (2.0).
Dancing with the Stars rose to 16.5m (2.8) as its finale week begun on ABC, after which The Bachelorette entertained 7.7m (2.4) between 9pm and 11pm.
America's Got Talent led the night with 9.5m (3.1), a figure down considerably on last week's premiere but high enough to provide a strong lead-in for American Ninja Warrior, which launched with 6.1m (2.4) from 9pm.
CBS's only new programme was clip show Clash of the Commercials: USA v the World, managing 6m (1.4) in the 10pm hour.

Never got what the fuss was about this show. The times i watched it i found it formulaic, trite and boring. But that was just my opinion.
