'Glee' Lea Michele teases Rachel season four song, "challenging" plots

Glee star Lea Michele has revealed details of her first performance in season four.The actress, who plays Rachel Berry in the Fox musical comedy, confirmed that she will be performing a cover by Barbra Streisand when the show returns on September 13.

"I'm doing [a Barbra song] in episode one," she told Perez Hilton at Comic-Con. "Well, it's Barbra covering a popular song, I will tell you that. As far as Barbra's songs are concerned, I really do feel like I've done my faves."
Michele added that she has now been "bugging" showrunner Ryan Murphy to give her songs by another of her musical idols, Celine Dion.
On how Rachel will cope at NYADA in Glee's new season, Michele teased: "She's gonna be alone when we first see her... I think it's going to be really interesting seeing her in this place.
"She's always been surrounded by her friends in an environment that she knows and now she's by herself with people she doesn't know in a school full of 800 other Rachel Berrys.
"I think that's going to be challenging for her. But I think she always works best when she has to fight her way to the top."

Rachel is in New York,Kurt will start in Lima but will end up in New York Blaine,Tina,Brittney,Sam and Artie are still in Lima finishing School Finn will also hopefully end up in New York, Santana will end up in New York and they will all reunite for events Like Weddings ect.

@AlexDuffy - It might not be only Rachel at NYADA though, because Ryan Murphy wants Santana to be there too. It will show other characters like Finn, Sam, Mercedes outside of New York and Lima too, It has been confirmed.

Ooh, didn't know about Santana, thanks! I thought it was mainly a McKinley/NYADA split though? I figured that they'd somehow shoehorn people like Mercedes into the McKinley parts. I'd prefer it that way, I think. As long as it mainly focuses on McKinley, I'm fine with that.

No. Santana will start out in the University of Louisville and may/will move to New York, but not NYADA.

Season 4 is being split into McKinley and Rachel at NYADA. Not an idea I'm overly fond of, but I'll judge when I watch.
