A preview for JJ Abrams and Eric Kripke's high-concept drama Revolution has aired on NBC.The clip, which debuted on the channel during Monday night's (August 6) Olympics coverage, offers a look at a mysterious event which extinguishes all the world's power sources and the post-apocalyptic society which has developed 15 years later.
Revolution stars an ensemble cast including Billy Burke, Giancarlo Esposito, Tracy Spiridakos, Anna Lise Phillips, David Lyons and former Lost actress Elizabeth Mitchell.
Director Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Cowboys and Aliens) also receives top billing in the three-minute preview.
Revolution was named the most exciting new NBC show by Digital Spy readers in a poll earlier this year, attracting 45.5% of votes.
The show will debut on September 17 at 10/9c on NBC.

That looks terrible, nowhere near lost standards. The great thing about lost was it started out realistic with a plane crash onto an island (very plausible) then it became mysterious. This is just unrealistic from the off, some power sucking thingy, then this girl traveling then sword fights, seems ridiculous. More supernatural than lost.

Helpful - got halfway through the video, it stopped, and now it's unavailable... What I saw looked good.
