'Dallas', 'Falling Skies' to be renewed by TNT?

TNT is reportedly close to renewing a number of its shows.Revived drama Dallas is considered highly likely to be picked up for a second season, Deadline reports.

The series - which stars Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson alongside Dallas veterans Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy - has pulled in impressive ratings for the cable network.
Cop drama Rizzoli & Isles is certain to be renewed, while a third season for sci-fi drama Falling Skies - airing on FX in the UK - is considered likely.

The fate of legal comedy-drama Franklin & Bash is less certain, with TNT monitoring the show's ratings performance over the coming weeks before making a final decision on its future.
Finally, Frank Darabont's new pilot LA Noir is close to getting a series pick-up.
The period drama will focus on the conflict between the LAPD and the mob and stars Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) and Simon Pegg (Star Trek).

Franklin & Bash only gets half a million less viewers than Dallas based on last weeks new episodes.

I've seen the first four episodes of Dallas and it's impressive so far. JR is back to his old evil self! It was also good to see other characters like Cliff and Sue Ellen returning.

Fantastic news re DALLAS..Its a winner in so many ways. The big networks must be kicking themselves that they didnt take Dallas.
