JJ Abrams's 'Alcatraz' launches in UK: Cast interviews - video

JJ Abrams is involved. Elizabeth Sarnoff created the series. Jorge Garcia is among the show's stars. And it's set on an island. So unsurprisingly new US mystery series Alcatraz has drawn plenty of comparisons with the daddy of US drama series of the last decade - Lost.

But don't be fooled into thinking this is another Abrams (smoke) monster with gigantic plot twists and layers upon layers of mystery. Alcatraz may have a dark edge and a mysterious undercurrent, but at its heart it's a gristly procedural series. You can make up your mind on the show when it launches in the UK this evening (March 13) on Watch.
