The actor told MovieWeb that his character Jamie Wright could become a prime suspect for the murder of Rosie Larsen (Katie Findlay) in future episodes.
"I think it's safe to say you'll find out more about Jamie Wright, and I would think it's probably safe to say that at some point I will be in the lead suspect spot," he teased.
Ladin also defended the show's controversial season finale, which failed to resolve the mystery of Rosie's death.
"There were people [who were] very upset!" he admitted. "[But] I thought it was fantastic."
Ladin claimed that the reveal of Rosie's true killer "was something that really was never promised to viewers".
"I think if you're a viewer that wants things tied up at the end, there's a lot of procedurals on television that will do that for you," he said.
The Killing will return to AMC in 2012.

"The Killing" is a great mystery show. Still don't know who killed Rose Larson. When will season two begin? Can't wait!

I think that all the actor did a great job with what they had to work with. The reality is this show can no longer exploit the critical acclaim of the first 3 episodes. Veena Sud has put an enourmous challenge before self, but she is too arrogant to see that. Season 2 has to crucially be able to elevate season 1. Somehow make all season 1 episodes 4-12 to mean more than meaningless drivel. This show will never have a chance at being good. It already destroyed it chances at being great by giving us mostly hours of cop cliches.

that show was very slow and very dull, I just stopped caring in the end, none of the characters was likeable.
