'NCIS': Diane Neal returning for season ten

Diane Neal has confirmed that she will return to NCIS.The Law & Order: SVU actress has appeared in three episodes of the CBS drama as Special Agent Abigail Borin.

She will reprise her role in the show's upcoming tenth season, TVLine reports.
"It is the most fun place to work, and I get to have a gun!" joked the actress. "It's also really fun because I play the female [equivalent of] Mark Harmon."
Neal is best known for her role as ADA Casey Novak on NBC's Law & Order: SVU - which she has played since 2001 - and has also appeared in episodes of A Gifted Man, White Collar and 30 Rock.
David McCallum (Dr Donald 'Ducky' Mallard) recently struck a new two-year deal to return to NCIS for season ten, while Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer) has been made a series regular.
Michael Weatherly (Tony), Pauley Perrette (Abby) and Sean Murray (McGee) have yet to sign new contracts, but cast negotiations are still ongoing. NCIS season ten will air on CBS this fall and on FX in early 2013 in the UK.
