Charlize Theron 'wants Game of Thrones role'

Charlize Theron has said that she would like to have a part on Game of Thrones.The Prometheus actress revealed that she is obsessed with the HBO series, adding that she likes to watch it when she's up late feeding her son Jackson.

"I watch a lot of stuff that people are somewhat shocked by, but I am absolutely like foaming at the mouth with Game of Thrones," Theron told Collider.
"When my son came in my life, that was a bottle feed because I couldn't watch television, I used to watch so little," she explained. "That was my TiVo feed every two hours, was watching Game of Thrones.
"My mom was like, 'Do you think it's fine that you're feeding your son while there's like sword fights?' I was like, 'It's fine, Mom. It's fine'. So, I'm somewhat obsessed with that right now."
The website went on to ask the actress whether she would ever want to appear on the HBO series.
"I'd be totally open to it," Theron said. "I'm open to anything, dude."
The season finale of Game of Thrones airs Sunday (June 3) at 9pm on HBO.
Yeah but who could she play? She could play the ghost of the Lannister's mother who appeared to Jamie at some point in the books.

Totally agree! But somehow I think one of the more likeable elements of the show is that they don't have A-listers and you actually FEEL like you just watching A actor. But Charlize is so talented with fantastic range - easy to make an exception for her ;)
