'Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke 'oblivious to fame'

Emilia Clarke has said that she is "oblivious" to fame.

The Game of Thrones star revealed that many fans of the HBO series do not recognise her because she looks very different in real life.

"I'm really oblivious to it, because I look so different," Clarke told the Huffington Post of fame.

The actress went on to say that her character, the Khaleesi Daenerys, does not accept failure.

"She's completely and utterly desperate and she doesn't accept failure in anything," Clarke said. "I think that she will die trying to do what she believes is right. That [belief is] tested, but it pays off, because they can see in her that she believes completely in what she's saying."

Clarke added that she hopes that Game of Thrones is on air for a while to come.

"I'm a fan, so [the thought of] doing that many seasons just makes me really happy," she said. "I get excited by it."
