After last night's mixed bag of performances by Team Cee Lo Green and Team Adam Levine, it might seem easy to wager on who will be heading home tonight. Still, while the coaches had their clear winners and losers, it's ultimately up to the American public as to who we'll be seeing next week.
Will your favourite make it through to the next round or will someone shocking be sent packing? Stay with Digital Spy from 9/8c to find out!
22:00Well, that's it for tonight! We're down to the Top 16! Join us next Monday (April 16) at 8/7c for more "great" performances!
21:59Adam is angry that all three did such an "amazing" job on what was their last performance and wishes that they could have done as well during last night's performances. He thinks that Cheesa should get through, which Blake agrees with, as does Christina. However, it's up to Cee Lo and he chooses... Cheesa, as well. That'll do it.
Oh, and by the way, Christina totally dissed Tony and acted like she didn't know his name. Cold as ice, Xtina!
21:53For the last performance of the night, Erin's singing Elton John's 'Your Song'. Please get her off my screen now. I don't think any of these three deserve to stay, but I have a feeling that Cee Lo might choose her over the others. I don't know which would be worse, really.
21:46Cheesa's singing 'All By Myself' and that's exactly what she'll be singing on the plane back home, cos you do not sing Celine Dion (yes, I realise Eric Carmen is the original artist) and expect to get away with it. She's got a good voice, but it ain't THAT good, ya heard?
21:45Tony Vincent picks 'Sweet Dreams' by The Eurythmics as his final song - though it sounds more like he's singing the Marilyn Manson version. I don't like Tony too much - bless him and his Broadway star self, but his weird Jack Skellington thing just doesn't do it for me.
21:43Hey, we're back in the lounge and Christina is asking Adam about...zzz... oh, sorry, fell asleep again.
21:37But it's up to Adam as to who's staying tonight. The other coaches, for their parts, think Katrina was the winner. Adam decides that he... well, he takes forever to decide and instead gives one of his pseud-inspirational speeches about how impossible it is to win the show and how it's a "bizarre, surreal thing" and they should be proud of how far they came. Whatever, Adam, get to it.
Katrina wins, so it's Kim and Karla heading home. Bye bye, ladies!
21:33'Don't Speak' by No Doubt is Katrina Parker's choice - I dig it. Listen, out of the three of them, Katrina is kind of the best. I don't wanna hear another word about it.
21:26Karla Davis chooses Bonnie Raitt's 'I Can't Make You Love Me' as her final song, but how dare she ruin one of my favourite tracks ever written? Just leave, Karla. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
21:24Christina Milian is backstage asking the contestants who are safe about who they think is going home. Not so great.
Anyway, now it's time for last chance performances. Kim Yarbrough is singing Jennifer Hudson's 'Spotlight'. I like this song, but I'm kinda over Kim and think she needs to go back to wedding singing or whatever it was she was doing. She's got an amazing voice, no doubt, but not much in the way of stage presence. Sorry, Kim.
21:18Juliet is, predictably, the first one through. Jamar is next! (I'm two for two!) Finally, it's... James! YES. Am I good or am I good? (The answer? I'm GOOD.)
That means Cheesa, Erin Martin and Tony will have to sing their hearts out!
21:16Next up, Team Cee Lo gets to hear some of their results. Let me make a guess here before we start. Juliet Simms, Jamar Rogers and... James Massone will be safe. Let's find out...
21:14Time for some results! But before that, we're reminded for a tenth time how Team Adam did last night - just in case you forgot. Then Adam promises that each of them will have careers because he loves them. Not sure that's how the music industry works, Adam, but I'll let you go with it.
In no particular order, America's first save is Mathai. No surprises there - and good pick. I love her! Tony Lucca is also through safe and sound! Finally, Pip Andrew is put through to the next round as well. That means it's between Katrina Parker, Kim Yarbrough and Karla Davis - and only one of them can be saved. Who will it be?
21:06Jessie's singing with Team Christina tonight on her single 'Domino'. Listen, say what you will about Jessie J, but I adore her. She's really daft and can sing the hell out of anything - even if she does go a little overboard sometimes. I will, however, admit that her fashion choices often leave something to be desired.
Anyway, back to this performance... I do like this song a lot. I also absolutely adore her earrings. They're even bigger than the massive hoops I got for £1 at Primark!
21:01Anddddd we're off! Who's watching? Who cares? Oh, come on, I kid because I love. And because it's my job. Luckily, Jessie J is performing tonight. Stomp stomp, she's arrived! Or some other awful Jessie J-related joke.
