Britney Spears 'X Factor' USA deal in final stages?

According to TMZ, Spears has made a $15 million (£9.4m) deal with the show to appear on the judging panel next season. The major terms of the deal are reportedly closed, while "final points" are still being negotiated.
Spears's fiance Jason Trawick is allegedly "very involved" with the negotiations, as is her father and co-conservator Jamie Spears, who must sign off on the final contract.
X Factor executives have so far refused to confirm or deny the report.
Simon Cowell said yesterday that Spears would make a "fascinating" addition to the show.
He added that that he expects to make an announcement regarding Spears within the next week.
Former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she is "rooting for Spears" to join the show.

Lol she doesn't sing, spent £70 going to her gig, didn't sing, or move a muscle... ridiculous (don't ask why I went, she was my era growing up *hangs head*)
