Simon Cowell: 'Britney Spears would be fascinating on X Factor USA'

Simon Cowell has said that Britney Spears would be a "fascinating" addition to the X Factor USA judges' panel.The music mogul, who confirmed last week that he wants the 'Criminal' singer on the show, said that talks are ongoing but he is hopeful that a deal will be reached soon.

"I would love to have her on the show," Cowell said in a call to TMZ.
"I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to."
Cowell went on to say that he expects to confirm Spears's involvement in the show within the next week.
Former X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger has said that she is rooting for Spears to join the show.

Dann Sado Possibly but I just don't see her coming back out musically with the passion and dedication that she had with that album. Let's face it, since ITZ she has been in a different place mentally and has lacked any type of enthusiasm that she had when she was more of a teen icon. I think that is obvious by the fact that she never sings live in her concerts (as opposed to the Onyx Hotel, which was half live?). I think it is slightly unreasonable to call her a legend or still talented when this is an obvious fact.

John Sanders You just said "people are deluded when they say she is talented". You didn't put a time limit on it. If someone can create that piece of work nine years ago, I'm sure as hell she can do it nine years later...
