The 52-year-old promised that the show will be different when it returns for its second season, saying that he has finally been able to make the creative decisions he wanted for the series."[It will be] different, better and more controversial," Cowell told Entertainment Tonight."It will be the show I've always wanted to make, and now I have the ability to do it," he said. He went on to talk about what he learned from the show's first season. "I think what I learned is that you need Americans to host the show," Cowell said.
