'X Factor' USA opens online auditions for season two

The singing competition will conclude its debut season with a two-part live finale next week, with a second season previously confirmed by Fox last month.
Singers and vocal groups can now submit their audition videos through the official website until Saturday, December 31.
Marcus Canty, who made it to the live shows this season, was one of the contestants who auditioned via YouTube for the first season.
Cities and dates for the open auditions and MyStudio Booth Auditions - which found Drew Ryniewicz this season - will be announced at a later date.
The X Factor chose its final three for season one on Thursday night's results show, when Marcus Canty, Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro and Josh Krajcik discovered who would be going home and who would be advancing to next week's finale.
The X Factor concludes Wednesday, December 21 and Thursday, December 22 at 8/7c on Fox.

The three X Factor finalists all have amazing talent, but for me it's Chris Rene-- great audience appeal and personal attraction--however it's anyone's guess. And how about the amazing voice of Melanie Amaro! Any comments?
