"No Emmy nomination for Fringe - ridiculous," he wrote. "So much talent. So much hard work. So much imagination."
The Star Trek actor also retweeted several messages voicing disapproval that his co-star John Noble (Walter Bishop) had not been recognised.
"Shouldn't be so surprised about Fringe," he added. "Emmy has given short shrift to Star Trek for 46 years. Amazing."
Last year, Joshua Jackson (Peter Bishop) also expressed his disappointment at Noble's lack of awards.
"Somebody's got to nominate John Noble," he insisted. "It's just getting silly now."
The final season of Fringe premieres on September 28 on Fox in the US. It will air in the UK on Sky1.

The amount of multiple nominations is seriously frustrating considering the ommission of Fringe. Three sets of MadMen writers out of five nominations in the "outstanding drama writing" category, and two from each of Breaking Bad and Downton Abbey in "supporting actor in Drama", as much as I love Breaking Bad I feel Giancarlo Esposito isn't as worthy as John Noble, although I still have a few Season 4 episodes of BB to watch.

I clicked this article thinking Leonard had won an emmy for having the straightest-cut fringe in sci-fi :)

i'm really annoyed that this wasn't nominated for anything, things like Breaking Bad and Mad Men are always nominated, they should introduce a rule where they can't be nominated every year cause amazing shows like this always get overlooked (and I doubt it will win any teen choice awards up against The Vampire Diaries :/)

Totally agree! This is the best series on tv since Lost first started all them years ago now! Also it's far and away the best sci-fi/drama in years! John Noble is an amazing actor, fact..
