The actress will appear in the final two episodes of the Fox drama's fourth season, reports TV Guide.
Her character Jessica is linked to villain David Robert Jones (Jared Harris) and will also share an "emotional connection" with Olivia (Anna Torv).
"The finale in many ways is our characters' final battle," explained show exec Joel Wyman. "[Olivia and Jessica] may find out they have more in common then they first thought."
Since Lost concluded in 2010, Mader has appeared on ABC's No Ordinary Family and short-lived sitcom Work It.
Her former Lost co-star Henry Ian Cusick will also star in a forthcoming episode of Fringe, appearing alongside Australian actress Georgina Haig.
The show's fourth run resumes on Fox tonight at 9/8c. In the UK, Fringe airs on Sky1.

Conor Murray and Boone. All appeared in roughly the same amount of episodes as series regulars. However noone would turn round and say Ian Somerhalder wasn't a star in Lost.
