'Jersey Shore' star to appear in 'Bones'?

Mike Sorrentino is reportedly in talks to appear in a future episode of Bones.

The Jersey Shore star, also known as The Situation, could play a fitness instructor on the series.

Bones creator Hart Hanson told Entertainment Weekly: "We're trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim.

"A guido is killed and Booth [David Boreanaz] and Brennan [Emily Deschanel] enter that world to find out what happens. We're not sure if it'll happen or not. Talks are ongoing."

Speaking about the Jersey Shore-inspired episode, Boreanaz revealed that Brennan will understand the 'guidos' because "she considers [them] a tribe".

"Brennan anthropologically studies them and knows the lingo and the behaviour," Deschanel added. "[She's] down with the whole guido stuff."

Deschanel also claimed that the episode will include references to Jersey Shore, joking: "I guarantee that there will be a fist pump."

The Jersey Shore episode of Bones is due to air in October.
