'Community' pulled, '30 Rock' returns in NBC midseason schedule

The network revealed on Monday that several of its primetime shows would change nights and times to make room for popular returning and new series.
Community has been dropped for an unknown amount of time in order to make room for the return of 30 Rock which will premiere its fifth season on Thursday, January 12 at 8/7c.
Meanwhile, Up All Night will move to Thursdays at 9.30/8.30c beginning that night, while Whitney will take the show's former position on Wednesdays at 8/7c.
In addition, the new Elle Macpherson-fronted series Fashion Star will premiere on March 6 following Parenthood's season finale one week before.
The new cycle of Who Do You Think You Are? will premiere on Friday, February 3, taking over from Chuck, which will finish its fifth and final season on January 27.
The Kathy Bates drama Harry's Law will also relocate to Sundays at 8/7c beginning March 4, while The Firm will replace Prime Suspect on Thursdays at 10/9c from that date.

8-10pm - The Voice (beginning February 5)
10-11pm - Smash (beginning February 6)
Tuesdays
8-10pm - The Biggest Loser (beginning January 3)
10-11pm - Fashion Star (beginning March 13)
Wednesdays
8-8.30pm - Whitney (beginning January 11)
8.30-9pm - Are You There, Chelsea? (beginning January 11)
Thursdays
8-8.30pm - 30 Rock (beginning January 12)
9.30-10pm - Up All Night (beginning January 12)
10-11pm - The Firm (two-hour premiere Sunday January 8; Thursday time period premiere January 12)
Fridays
8-9pm - Who Do You Think You Are? (beginning February 3)
Sundays
7-9pm - Dateline NBC (beginning January 8)
8-9pm - Harry's Law (beginning March 4)
9-11pm - The Celebrity Apprentice (beginning February 12)









When it comes to scheduling intelligent, highbrow comedies which draw critical acclaim, NBC is streets behind.

I'm sort of glad it been pulled because this series has really lost its magic and charm it once had. I loved the spoof one offs, they were amazing. Hopefully this will make the shows producer realise that they were wrong to try 'normalize' it. Now I'm off to go ask Joshua for a bounce on that trampoline!
