'Burn Notice': Major character to be killed off next month

Burn Notice creator Matt Nix has confirmed that a major character will be killed off in an upcoming episode.The showrunner said that he expects the tragic twist in the USA show's July 26 episode 'Shock Wave' to blindside viewers.

"It's a pretty good way for an actor to go; not something you would see coming," Nix told TV Guide. "The impact will be felt for the rest of the show and launches Michael [Jeffrey Donovan] in a whole new direction."
Burn Notice star Sharon Gless elaborated that the death will have the biggest effect on her character Madeline Westen.
"[I] was very upset," she said. "It affects my character tremendously - almost more than anyone."
Burn Notice's sixth season currently airs in the US Thursdays at 9/8c on USA.
If it's Sam i'm done with the show.

It's got to be Nate. The 'new direction' Michael would go in would be out and out fury and revenge. Jesse's death wouldn't do that. Madeline IS closer to Jesse than the others, though but it obviously makes sense that she'll be more effected by Nate's death than anyone. :)
