Kelly Ripa: 'I won't co-host Live! with husband Mark Consuelos'

Kelly Ripa has said that she will not co-host Live! with Kelly with her husband Mark Consuelos on a permanent basis.

Ripa previously appeared on the show with Regis Philbin and has worked with several different stars since his departure in November.

However, Ripa told Vanity Fair that Consuelos would be worried about their marriage if they worked together.

"No-one would make me happier than Mark, but he values our marriage," she said.

"He says that he doesn't see how we could stay married and both do that show."

Ripa has said that she is in no rush to replace Philbin on a permanent basis as the guest hosts have brought a "new energy" to the show.
