'Drop Dead Diva' gets season four premiere date on Lifetime

Drop Dead Diva season four has been given a summer premiere date.

The Lifetime show will debut on Sunday, June 3 at 9pm ET with guest star Kim Kardashian.



Drop Dead Diva follows beautiful yet vapid wannabe model Deb, who finds herself inside another body after a fatal car accident. She must live her new life as a plus-sized attorney named Jane (Brooke Elliott).

Kardashian is set to portray a new character named Nikki, a famed relationship guru who will become a love interest to one of the characters.

Other celebrity guests set to appear throughout the show's 13 new episodes include tennis star Serena Williams, John Ratzenberger, Patty Duke, Megyn Price, Emily Rutherford and Jake T Austin.

Williams will play a family lawyer who represents Elisa Shayne - played by Brandy - who along with Valerie Harper will be reprising their roles from season three.
