Charlie Sheen's 'Anger Management' heading for $50m lawsuit

's new series Anger Management
is at the centre of a $50 million (£31m) lawsuit.
The show's executive producer Joe Roth (Major League
, Mona Lisa Smile
) is being sued by another producer, Jason Shuman, The Hollywood Reporter
Shuman claims that he spent two years adapting the 2003 film Anger Management
for television, and was promised a cut of the profits made by the series.
However he alleges that he was cut out of the deal when Sheen signed on, and is owed more than $50 million in compensation.
Roth said: "We haven't received the complaint but we are aware of the issue.
