The actor was previously involved in a feud with series creator Dan Harmon, later branding the comedy "a mediocre f**king sitcom".
However, in an interview with Assignment X, Chase said: "I'm very happy. It's a lot of fun and it's a great group of people in every way – cast, directors, writers."
He continued: "It's a lot harder work than I thought in terms of the hours, but it's worth it. I've never watched a sitcom in my life, and somehow I took a job on one, and I find it very amusing and fun."
Harmon reportedly suggested that Chase may have been drunk when he left an abusive message on his answer-phone.
Community continues on Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC. In the UK, the show's second season airs on Sony Entertainment Television on Tuesdays at 10.30pm.

Let's face it, Chevy wouldn't be missed if he went because the rest of the cast are so strong anyway.
