'Jersey Shore' to phase out Snooki, The Situation?

Sources close to the programme tell TMZ that bosses at 495 Productions, which produces the show, are wary about bringing back the reality stars.
Producers believe that Snooki's pregnancy and The Situation's sobriety have caused panic among producers who fear that, without alcohol, the stars may not provide entertainment.
New, more reckless cast members are apparently being considered to take their places so the two veterans can play lesser roles in the upcoming season.
MTV recently announced that the entire cast, including Snooki and The Situation, are due to return for season six of the series.
Snooki is currently filming a spin-off series with other Jersey Shore alumna JWoww in Jersey City. The show will focus on Snooki's current pregnancy.
Season six of Jersey Shore begins filming this summer.

they cant get rid of them both! they are probably the best entertainment in the show! anyway, I find snooki hilarious even when she hasn't been drinking!

Lovely they care more about their cast being alcoholics and funny than them being smart and healthy... and apparently boring! Idiots.

this says it all about this programme! the tv company or whoever makes the programme are willing to put real peoples health and sobriety at risk for the sake of entertainment which is totally wrong and so stupid and irresponsible of them!
