The ALMA Awards will be broadcast on NBC for the second year in a row.
The ceremony will honour the very best in Latino culture to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month in September.
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and Janet Murguia will produce the 2012 ALMA Awards.
NBC's president of Alternative and Late Night Programming Paul Telegdy said in a statement that the Peacock Network is "incredibly proud" to be once again presenting the ALMAs.
"We are fully committed to the ALMAs goal of promoting diversity and inclusion among the entertainment industry and are excited to partner with NCLR (National Council of La Raza) to highlight the contributions that Hispanic artists have made over the past year," Telegdy commented.
The ALMA Awards were launched in 1995 by the NCLR to promote positive portrayals of the Latino community in the media.
