The simple-minded biker betrayed his gang and killed Miles (Frank Potter) in the FX drama's recent fourth season.
"One of the things we try to do on the show is not let anything... happen in a vacuum," Sutter told TVLine. "Ultimately, these secrets always do come back."
The showrunner confirmed that the truth about Miles's death will come out "at some point" in the future.
"The truth is, Juice did kill Miles and he did ultimately rat on the club," he said. "And even though it's buried for now, there are people out there that are aware that he's done it. So, yeah, I'm sure we will probably find the right story... to bring that back in play."
Sons of Anarchy was picked up for a fifth, 13-episode season in mid-October after attracting record ratings for FX.

I think the way thay kept him alive was brilliant. I am not a particular fan of Clay but keeping him alive without the club is a fate worse than death for him.

i am so dissapointed, again clay was saved.it is completely unbelievable now, it was clear from the start that the producers want to keep clay in the series and they came up with complete BS to do so
