Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane adopted the voice of his character Stewie Griffin to make demands for Jay Leno during an appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday. The comedian decided to call Paul Telegdy, the head of late night at NBC, after telling Leno that Stewie is still his most requested voice character.
Speaking as Family Guy's baby Stewie, he said to Telegdy: "Hello Paul, this is Stewie Griffin. I understand you are the new bigwig at NBC. It's interesting. I was reading you were a Japanese and Korean language major and now you're head of late night which is appropriate because when you think of the Asian cultures you think of comedy."

'Stewie' went on to list several demands on Leno's behalf, starting with requesting a handicapped parking space.
"I think he genuinely qualifies because of the jaw situation," he quipped.
'Stewie' then said to Telegdy: "As we all know, you English men are in quite tight with the newspaper business so Jay would like the newspapers to flub some more headlines to make it easier for him.
"Let's have The Times run a headline which says, 'Obama's pen is mightier than sword' but leave out the space between 'pen' and 'is' and Jay will take it from there."
MacFarlane was on The Tonight Show to promote his new album Music Is Better Than Words, which came about following his performance on the Family Guy variety show.

Wait a minute: "Pen Is Mightier Than Sword, Says Wilson" was a real headline during that president's administration--and the slug (space) between Pen and Is was left out inadvertently in that day of handset headlines. Just saying: this is not an original line....
