Both Parsons and Galecki received nominations for 'Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series' earlier this morning. However, Parsons insists that there is no rivalry between the two actors.
"I'm so glad Johnny got [a nomination]," Parsons told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's wonderful to have the whole family feeling; it feels happier this year, to be totally honest, because there's more people. A party is always more fun with more people there."
The 38-year-old went on to confess that while he is looking forward to attending September's Emmy Awards, he already feels anxious about having to secure a tuxedo.
"The only thing that crossed my mind is that I have to find a tux," Parsons said. "I immediately went to the one anxiety point that I could as a person who doesn't like clothes shopping."
In June, it was announced that Parsons will be guest starring on the fourth season of iCarly, playing a psychiatric patient who believes he is from the future.
The 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards air on September 18.

I like Johnny Galecki but don't think that his is one of the best performances in the show. The skills that Jim Parsons brings to his role are just outstanding.
