Aimee Garcia signs up for 'Off The Map'

Aimee Garcia has reportedly signed up for a role in Off The Map.

The former Trauma star has landed a multi-episode arc on the drama, Entertainment Weekly says.

Off The Map focuses on a group of doctors working at a medical clinic in South America and stars Friday Night Lights actor Zach Gilford as a plastic surgeon.

Garcia is expected to play a local resident who begins to develop feelings for Gilford's character.

Off The Map, from Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice creator Shonda Rhimes, will air in midseason on ABC.
