Alex Graves to direct 'Terra Nova'

Fox have hired a director for new series Terra Nova.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Alex Graves has signed up to helm the project.

Graves has previously directed the pilots for ABC's The Whole Truth, which was picked up this month, and Fox's Fringe, which has just finished its second season.

Terra Nova is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and follows a family from the future who decide to time travel to the prehistoric era.

Filming is expected to begin in Australia at the end of the summer.
