Nicholas Hoult has ruled out a return to Skins for the show's final seventh season, claiming that he is too busy with movie work to reappear in the E4 teen drama.Skins will conclude in 2013 with a seventh series, featuring a number of former actors from the three generations of casts.

However, Hoult confirmed to The Sun that he would not be one of those returning.
"No, I'm not going to be doing it. I loved Skins but I don't think I can fit it in," he said.
"I'm filming Mad Max in Namibia, which will mean I'm away for ages."
Hoult played Tony Stonem for two series of the teen drama in 2007 to 2008. Since leaving the show, he has starred in movies such as X-Men: First Class and A Single Man.
Skins writer Jamie Brittain confirmed earlier this year that Jack O'Connell will be reprising his role as James Cook in the seventh-series finale.

People saying he's ungrateful and forgetting where his fame came from... You clearly know nothing about the actor since you don't realise he was acting before skins. I know he was definitely in about a boy and he was pretty young in that, and then I looked it up on IMDb and he's actually been acting since 1996 apparently

You CANNOT do a Skins reunion season without Tony.

To be fair, this is a Sun article. Don't believe everything.

It isn't a case of forgetting where you have come from or not being grateful. Actors move on to other projects, sign contracts and tie themselves up for months. It isn't so easy to just drop projects to go back to something else.
I haven't watched the later series' of Skins but enjoyed the first gen cast and would have watched the last series if a lot of them were back.
