'Skins' to bow out with final series in 2013, former stars to return

Channel 4 has announced that Skins
will bow out with one final series.
The E4 teen drama has been recommissioned for a special seventh run - made up of three films broken up into six parts - to be broadcast in 2013, Digital Spy

"Channel 4 today confirmed that next year's series of E4's teen drama Skins
will be its last," the broadcaster said this evening.
"The new series will be a celebration of this truly iconic series, and will go to air in early 2013."

, which launched in 2007, is currently airing its sixth series every Monday at 10pm on E4.
