So, it finally happened - following a throughly creepy and dramatic encounter with the Weeping Angels in a noirish New York city, Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) parted ways with the Doctor (Matt Smith) under emotional circumstances...

If you can keep from sobbing for long enough, we want to know what you thought of 'The Angels Take Manhattan' and of the Ponds' final moments. Did Steven Moffat pull it out of the bag? Or were you hoping for something different?
You can read our review of Who's final regular episode for 2012 right here, but we want to know what you thought too - share your feelings below!

Can River Song still see Amy and Rory because she said that she could get into New York with her Vortex Manipulator?

Good episode. But doesn't really make sense though: even if the doctor couldn't get back to new york surely he could get somewhere else on earth at that time though. At the end he says river will get amy to publish the book so that means she can get back and organise for them to meet in england getting there by ship. Also they weren't looking at the statue of liberty when it was on the roof for ages so it could've easily got rory then if they were so desperate. I also doubt it would have gone unnoticed moving around new york. Also previous episodes with the weeping angels in them seem to kind of contradict this one and the 2 in series 5. in blink the doctor calls them the loneliest creatures in the
universe because they could not look at each other yet the seem to be in big groups together and obviously the farm idea would have taken planning . The addition of the cherubs also made it feel less scary. the angels were really good and scary in blink because for most of that episode they seemed really beautiful and peaceful. When at the end it suddenly goes into its feral form it gives you a terrible fright and thats mainly what was scary about them in their first appearance. They were completely different then, now they feel similar to other monsters and are just randomly going into the horror form for no apparent reason. There was a certain feeling about blink which was really creepy. Then suddenly at the end it gives you a big shock. I just wish moffat had stayed with that approach to them, oh well...

OMG...more nightmares to face! I thought the Weeping Angels were scary on their own but now I've got the giggling cherubs with their little tappy feet thrown into the mix!

Good ridance to them. The most boring companions in Who history forever winging about going home to their boring lives. Now they can bore each other to death instead of viewers.

Didn't mind it too much, but to see Amy and Rory go... Not sure the kids and I weill continue to watch as they finally made it worth watching again after Tom Baker. I love this Doctor and River..breaking the team up just isn't right
