A new trailer for series seven of Doctor Who has debuted ahead of the show's imminent return. The 90-second clip features new footage from the show, including the Eleventh Doctor facing off against thousands of Daleks, shots of the Weeping Angels and dinosaurs - to which the Doctor is seen exclaiming "Dinosaurs... on a spaceship!"
The first official image for series seven was released at midnight on Thursday (August 2), showing Smith surrounded by Daleks and carrying an apparently unconscious Amy Pond (Karen Gillan).
These scenes are also teased in the new trailer, which will receive its television debut tonight at 8pm on BBC One.

Amy and Rory (Arthur Darvill) will bow out of the show around halfway though the new series in an adventure which will feature the Weeping Angels.
They will be replaced by a new companion played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.
Doctor Who will return with its seventh season premiere 'Asylum of the Daleks' in August.
The episode will be shown at BFI Southbank in London on August 14 ahead of its assumed premiere date at the Edinburgh International Television Festival later that month.

There's clearly still an awful lot of running to do.

The Master is back :)
Check out 0:40 where the Doctor mentions him to Amy in the same line that he refers to the cyborg gunslinger and Daleks of episode 3 and 1 respectively.
Recent spoilers that have emerged also indicate that the Time Lords will be returning in episode 4 (Cubed), and will play a much greater role in episode 9 (Hex) next year - all in time for the Anniversary!

Is it my imagination or is the musical cue at 0:33 - 0:38 a variation on YANA from Series 3?

Nice catch! My comment above explains why, but it appears that the section of the trailer at 0:33 - 0:38 is from Episode 2, since those comedy robots wouldn't really fit in with the others. If you take the Doctor's comment that I pointed out, and reverse the references (so he's talking about THIS episode, the PREVIOUS episode and then the FIRST episode with the Daleks), the pieces suddenly start to fit :)

River obviously kills all the daleks, remember, the doctor won't kill all the daleks as it's an act of genocide, hence why he exiled his clone version of himself to stay trapped on the other Earth with Rose. Remember, River's timeline goes backwards, so she will have killed all the daleks and that will lead to The Big Bang where the Stone Dalek is scared of River's appearance!

Please don't have all the Daleks destroyed ....yet again.......and bring them back because one ship or one Dalek survived falling through time blah blah blah. Russell T did that to death.

Bet river killed the Daleks after what the stone Dalek said in The Big Bang

Blimey! I think you're right. I never got why that Dalek was so terrified of her. And she is out of sync with the doctor's timeline so it makes sense.
