The producer of Broadchurch has advised fans to keep watching until the "very, very end" when the series reaches its conclusion tonight (April 22).

Richard Stokes has taken to Twitter to suggest that the full story will not be revealed until the last minutes of the episode, possibly hinting at a post-credits scene.

He tweeted: "#Broadchurch tonight - don't miss the beginning and please watch to the very, very end. Thanks for joining us on the ride."

The drama - which reaches the end of its eight-week run tonight - has had viewers guessing who murdered 11-year-old Danny Latimer.

The culprit is a closely guarded secret, with only 29 members of the cast and crew knowing who will be revealed as the killer, reports The Mirror.

Only ITV boss Peter Fincham and the head of drama have been allowed to watch the episode before it airs. The single edited copy of the finale has been locked in a safe and the channel has banned the production of any DVD copies.

Digital Spy readers think Joe Miller is the most likely suspect, with the character receiving almost half of the total votes (48.57%) in our recent poll.

Broadchurch's creator Chris Chibnall has said that the audience reaction to the drama has been bigger than for anything else he's ever worked on.

Broadchurch concludes tonight at 9pm on ITV.
