A spokesperson confirmed to Digital Spy: "Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales - customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds."
The final eight contestants of The Voice UK were scheduled to appear on the tour, which was due to visit London's O2 Arena and major cities including Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Cardiff.

It was reported last week that the tour hadn't sold out a single venue.
Further embarrassment hit The Voice recently when its first winner Leanne Mitchell failed to crack the Top 40 with her cover of 'Run To You'.
However, the series did celebrate being named the BBC's biggest entertainment launch in a decade, with average ratings higher than the debut series of The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and I'm a Celebrity.
Watch Leanne Mitchell perform 'Run To You' on The Voice UK below:

I am actually suprised. Suprised they even bothered to arrange a tour in the first place and think it would sell out. The lack of interest only confirms many things that are wrong with it.
I really can't see the point of even stating it had an audience higher than the XF when it launched, because many of the audience didn't even stick around....probably due to the fact there were screechy and over dramatic singers who had burst people's ear drums.

20+million pounds of license payers cash, for what??
a pub singer that doesnt sell records?
poor singers that make up a tour no one wants to see?
making filthy rich 'judges' that just lie through their teeth and add nothing constructive 500k+richer?
and a show that attracts pitiful ratings, hemorrhaging viewers with each passing week?
Singers like Chezza Cole that come on a show titled 'The Voice' and mime?
Roll on series 2?

At last the BBC is forced to cancel this pathetic revolving chair fiasco tour of`The Voice` this over spend production of license payers money ,those who were fans probably were not even old enough to have to pay for a license.
The second series should now be canceled and save whats left of the 22 £million budget,(most of which was wasted on the abundance of over paid celebs) and spend it on more professional and entertaining like `Strictly` leaving reality singing contests to those who do it best

Oh get off your high horse. You're saying television shouldn't cater for those too young to pay a TV licence? No children's programmes then?
