'The Voice' UK: Max Milner, Becky Hill reveal future plans

The Voice UK contestants Max Milner and Becky Hill have looked ahead after their exits from the series last night.

The two hopefuls were voted out of the BBC One talent show, along with Ruth Brown and Jaz Ellington, ahead of next week's grand final.



Max Milner explained that he doesn't feel sadness following his exit, and is looking forward to recording his own music and performing on The Voice UK tour later this year.

"I don't see why it's something to be unhappy about," he told BBC Breakfast. "We get to do a tour, hopefully we'll sell out the O2 Arena, that's ridiculous! It's gonna be amazing."

He added that he intends to reform with his backing band for future gigs, saying: "I personally did it to get my voice heard. Everybody needs a band, if I do go out and gig, I'm gonna need music behind me."

Becky Hill said of her elimination: "We had the attitude that the semis were a massive milestone to get to. Especially for me and Max, that's how far we wanted to get, any further would have been a bonus."



On her performance, she explained: "I've done a lot of shouting down the microphone, so I wanted to be a bit more relaxed, and not just some crazy teenager."

Looking ahead, she added: "We've got plans of action that we're gonna work out after the tour."

The final four in the competition are Tyler James (Team will.i.am), Leanne Mitchell (Team Tom Jones), Vince Kidd (Team Jessie J) and Bo Bruce (Team Danny O'Donoghue).

The finalists will now compete in next week's final on Saturday, June 3 at 7.20pm on BBC One.
