'The Voice' UK: Ruth Brown sang best, say Digital Spy readers

Ruth Brown has topped Digital Spy's poll to find the best performance during last night's first live show (April 28).The soul singer from Team Tom Jones easily won the vote with a whopping 45.4% for her cover of Oleta Adams's 'Get Here'.

Team will.i.am's Jaz Ellington finished as runner-up with his performance of 'At Last' with 17.9%.
Tyler James completed the top three with his version of 'Higher Love', taking in 15.1% of the vote.
Sam Buttery appears to be in the most danger of leaving the competition later this evening, after his cover of 'A Little Respect' only garnered 1.6%.
Matt and Sueleen are the next lowest-voted act with 2.2%, followed by Adam Isaac with 2.3%.
The lowest ranking Team will.i.am member is Sophie Griffin, who took in 3.0% of the poll.
Tonight's results show will see one act from each team with the lowest amount of the public vote leave the competition.
The Voice UK airs tonight at 7.25pm on BBC One, and will feature a live performance by Lana Del Rey.









Tyler James is the only real artist. The others are all karaoke queens.

Alex Glass wouldn't having the coaches change clothes be more decietful? They even on the Sunday show referred to people as having sang "tonight" Short of a massive banner at the start of the show saying "we filmed this last night" I'm not sure they could be more honest about the reality of the situation

True, but maybe they should be more honest about it, or at the very least have the coaches change clothes during the 30 minute window. How stupid do the BBC think we are?
