The Voice UK ditched the spinning chairs and battle ring gimmicks tonight as the live shows kicked off on BBC One.Team Tom duked it out with Team Will, and one member of each side will be eliminated from the comeptition tomorrow night..

no denying ruth is an amazing singer, love that song, which they had kept it more like the original though rather than playing around with it.

James, you can get his 2005 album the unlikely lad on iTunes. Gt it yesterday and it is on repeat at the moment. Still sounding fresh! Can't wait for his new album aft the show. Great that he's being reintroduced now after all he's been through, being bashed up by 10 men ended up with face surgery and rehab stint due to paranoia and alcohol addiction.

Read about him before you judge. He was such a fresh act in 2005. Then he was basked up by 10 men, left with face surgery and paranoia. Went to rehab due to alcoholism because of that... Glad to see he's back into making music and being reintroduced. Such a talent... Not just a singer who can emote when performing but is a great song writer.
