Conor and Luke Scrase spent 79 hours this week in the White Room, having been told that they had to remain in there to have a chance of winning a pass to the Big Brother final.
Tonight (August 3), the pair were shown a counter with "£0" written on it, and told that the figure would increase for the duration of a minute.
They were then told that, if either of them were to press their buzzer during the minute, that person would win the amount shown on the counter, but would have to leave.
They were also informed that the money would be taken from the eventual winner's £100,000 prize fund.
If neither pressed their button, they would both go through to the final.

As the amount increased, Luke S counted 'Mississippis' in an attempt to time the minute.
When the figure of £50,000 was reached and Big Brother indicated that there were five seconds left, both pressed their buttons.
Luke S, seemingly thinking that he had taken the money, grinned at Conor. When Big Brother announced that Conor had in fact beaten him to the buzzer, both contestants held their hands to their faces in shock.
The pair then hugged and Luke S began to cry.
As the Derry contestant walked out with his winnings, Luke S said: "That would have been half yours [if I had hit the buzzer first]," to which Conor simply replied: "Don't worry about anything."
"I'm worried," Luke S said in return.

So a dude - who has been the centre of controversy and who is currently the reason why Big Brother is being investigated by Ofcom for his treatment towards Deana - is receiving £50,000? Is this show adding insult to injury here, because I just think this is absolutely disgraceful and a proper insult to all those people who felt offended by what he had done. Worse still, he has not even been voted by the public to win the £50,000, so I fail to realise why Big Brother feel justified for him to take it? He shouldn't even be in the house after what happen, let alone leave with £50,000! He needs to be stripped of it!

Conor was sly. He made Luk S think he just wanted to get to the Final. Luke S was naive. I don't like either of them. He didnt deserve £50,000. TK

I may vote for Luke s to win now. I have never liked him much and considered his romance with Ashleigh to be phonier than Scott's accent, but I feel really sorry for him since his mate Conor dumped allover him in the White Room. My favourite housemates were Benedict and Lauren, and I like Deana and Sara, but there is no one else in there I would like to win so maybe it would only be fair if Luke s won next monday.

Luke S showed himself up as a) a very bad loser, b) not caring about Ashleigh (he planned to take the money and run. Ashleigh didn't come in to it.
Conor was very, very lucky. He had made some terrible comments about Deana, and whatever he says, his gigantic ego didn't forgive Deana for her nerve-wracking first night nomination of him.
I wish him well with his prize though. He's looking good - could be an actor with his looks - and plans to give his girlfriend a lovely big wedding. Ahhh....
