Becky Hannon evicted from Big Brother

Becky Hannon has become the ninth housemate to be evicted from Big Brother.

She lost out to Luke Anderson, Deana Uppal and Ashleigh Hughes in this week's public vote.



On being told that she was going, Becky gave a weak cheer and hugged her fellow contestants.

"Honestly, I knew it," she told them.

Exiting to boos, the drama student clapped and waved her arms triumphantly in the air.

Speaking to Brian Dowling afterwards, Becky said that she was "fine" with her hostile reception, explaining: "I didn't expect to be loved."

Elaborating, she commented: "I've been a gossip, and probably people don't like that."



However, the evictee went on to say she had never known "boringer" people than Deana Uppal and her allies, and commented that she had "literally no clue" why they still remained in the competition.

Asked if we had seen the real Becky on TV, she said she had probably done "a bit more bitching" than usual, but admitted she "love[s] a good bitch" in the outside world.

She ended by describing living in the divided house as "minging", saying it was difficult being disliked by Luke Anderson, Deana Uppal and Adam Kelly.

Becky had been the bookies' favourite to go, with odds of 8/13 at Paddy Power.

Earlier this week, she had threatened to walk off the reality show after Luke Anderson made a joke about her weight by saying: "Becky has as much respect for me as she does her BMI."
