9.00 PJ stops singing to ask Jade if she farted; she did, and PJ is amazed she did the deed in such conspicuous fashion, with Kate saying 'she doesn't care!'. Adele is in the poor bedroom for Alex to change his batteries, which he does in an understandably sleepy manner, and she goes back to the diary room to return all the used ones.9.02 Tim takes his pieces of brown fabric and gets himself some brown cotton to sew them together, while PJ says that he's not really enjoying making puppets as he's not really into arts and crafts at all; he and Jade laugh when they see Jonny's Alex puppet, which is 'so cool' in PJ's view. As he demonsrates it, Jade tells him that he's pretty arty.
9.05 Jade looks around on the floor for the cotton thread she was using, with Tim trying to help her find it from the comfort of the sofa; Jonny notices that he's bruised his knuckle, and Adele wonders if he's completely broken it, while Jade wonders why PJ's puppet of Spencer has a dress. 'It's a vest', PJ says, and Jade encourages him to make some green trousers for him as the man himself used to wear them for days on end.
9.07 'I feel like sticking these on myself!', Adele says about the pipe cleaner hair strands, and laughs as she sports some in a Hitler-style myself; PJ tells her that he doesn't have any more Spencer to tell, and Adele states that she doesn't like ghost stories as she's a bit old to get scared by them. She does say that she enjoys horror movies like 'Carrie', and she describes the plot to Kate of a girl with pale ginger hair who can make things move by looking at them, and her mother is 'a psycho'.
9.10 Jonny asks for some paint, and notices that Jade has just used a word that his partner Joanne uses about him, namely 'Hun'. Tim re-threads his needle to sew his brown pieces of fabric together, and Jade pulls herself a length of red cotton; PJ says that he'll paint a vest on 'Spencer's body with silver paint, with Adele saying 'Spencer always used to wear a silver vest, didn't he' ironically.
9.12 Kate bemoans the bruises on her legs which were caused by Jonny throwing her about, and PJ says 'I always used to love Spencer's silver vest'; he had to use silver as he couldn't find brown, and Adele tells him 'I'm sure Spencer will appreciate the vest'. PJ says he doesn't think Spencer'll be watching anyway; 'he'll be out shagging', Jonny thinks.
9.14 Tim continues to sew his material up, as PJ says that a silver vest would go well on the real Spencer; Jade still thinks PJ's made a dress for him, but PJ says it's 'a proper Die Hard-type vest'. Adele says she'd kill for an old-skool games console like a Commodore or an Atari, or even a hand-held game like King Kong or Mario; Jade says she died on Mario after getting right to the end, which caused her to headbutt her console.
9.17 Jonny holds up his Alex puppet, which makes PJ laugh and compliment him on the realistic shoes he's sporting; Adele laughs at the puppet Alex's arse, and PJ encourages Jonny to leave it without a head. Tim comes to the divide and tells Adele he's been sewing up her body; Jade to tells him to make it look 'pretty', and Kate points out to her that the T-shirt she can't remember is the one she's worn almost every day in the house.
9.19 Adele tells Tim to give her a T-shirt with black arms, as Jonny says that the papier mache balloons are still wet; 'they don't dry that fast', Kate says.
9.25 Tim begins to attach pieces of fabric as 'clothing' to her puppet of Adele; he asks Jade if she's sewing her 'clothes' on, which she is, but she had to re-do Sunita as 'it was a poor attempt'. Jonny says he'll let the blue painted area of one of his puppets dry tomorrow, as Tim looks for some fabric in the materials box; PJ does a 'my name's Sunita!' voice to Jade's puppet.
9.28 Jade looks for a 'dark pair of blue cords', as Jonny asks for someone with nails to remove some tape from one of his puppets; he manages it himself as Adele asks Jade whether she should double over the material being used for clothing, while Jonny looks for some material which can resemble some jeans.
9.29 Jonny is told by PJ that there's no flesh-coloured material remaining, as PJ cuts out some boots from a piece of black material; Tim, meanwhile, sticks some sequins to the edge of the brown material he's cut out as clothing for his puppet.
9.31 PJ sews some fabric to his piece of black material, as Jonny notices that it's pouring down outside; 'I can't believe I'm sewing', Adele says while realising the shame of it, and Jonny states he could do with a bar of Galaxy now. He sits down at the dining table with a cigarette, but not before he shows Jade how to make trousers longer than the bottom of the puppet so that they 'dangle down'; he also tells PJ that his puppet's looking good.
9.38 The housemates sporadically sing 'All Night Long', as Jade requests that Jonny cut some trousers for her; she also wonders how she can make lines in the material she's using. Kate paints a red stripe across the centre of the red material she's made as a top for her puppet, and she gives PJ false thanks after he tells her he's put the silver paint back.
9.41 Jade asks everyone else whether she should use white or black for the shoes she's making, and PJ tells her to 'make your own decisions for once', which he didn't say as harsh as it looks here; Jade also tells Tim that his puppet of her is very good, as he threads some more 'clothes' onto his puppet of what appears to be Sophie.
9.43 Jade puts a stripe of glue at the bottom of one of her puppets to stick some blue shorts on with, while Jonny cuts some glittery material to use as a dress; he tells PJ that 'All Night Long' is one of his favourite songs for his band to perform, as he's a lead singer with his brother and two girls who do backing vocals. He does stress that his band sings covers to familiarise themselves with the public, and they also record all the backing music on Minidiscs, rather than playing live instuments.
9.46 Adele asks Jonny if his band sell cassettes, and she talks of a guy from Preston who plays working men's clubs there and nearly one 'Star For A Night'; she tells Jonny that her hometown of Southport has been classified as being in Lancashire and Merseyside in the last ten years. Jade paints some gold markings around the edge of the blue shorts she's stuck on her puppet to make them resemble denim, as PJ removes the strips from the double sided tape he's put on the back of his dress while singing the 'Button Moon' theme in a soulful way.
9.49 'Holy shit', says Adele as Jade asks for the silver; Jonny takes his puppets away before Kate 'can spill things on them, you klutz', he says to her. In the rich house, Tim applies glue to a white T-shirt-shaped piece of material he sticks onto his main puppet, while Jonny continues to tell Adele about his band, which used to have a woman lead vocalist before she went to Spain.
9.51 Jade holds up her puppet and asks the others what they think of the trousers, which she doesn't like and unsurprisingly so, as they have too wide legs and a too thin strip at the top; PJ laughs as he says 'd'you know what I've just done?', but we don't get to find out what as E4 take a commercial break immediately afterwards.
9.58 Adele tells Jonny that she loves anything off the 'Older' album by George Michael, especially 'Jesus To A Child', and PJ duly obliges; they then sing 'Gold' by Spandau Ballet after Kate asks for the gold paint, and Adele points out that 'they don't write songs like that anymore'. They move on to Wham's 'Club Tropicana'.
