Amy Childs wants to create 'TOWIE' rival

Amy Childs has revealed plans to produce a rival show to The Only Way Is Essex featuring the original cast members.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star's announcement comes after cousin Harry Derbidge admitted that he'd like to start a TOWIE-style series following his axing.

Mark Wright and Kirk Norcross, who both left the ITV2 show to star in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here and Celebrity Big Brother respectively, could also take part in the project.



"I think it would be really good if all the original TOWIE people who've left did their own show. I'd be well up for that. I think people would watch that because audiences like the original cast," Childs told the Daily Star.

"It's weird that there's no Mark, Kirk and Harry in the show now. But to be honest I think it's been the making of Harry. And he's got a project coming up that we're doing together.

"It's gonna be amazing, but I can't say what it is just yet. You'll find out soon. I'd always support TOWIE, though, and I'll always be a fan. It was the making of me and I'll never forget that."

Childs added that she's "sure" Frankie Cocozza would have "tried it on" with her had she been in the Celebrity Big Brother this year.
